finally got a hold of some epoxy easily found at canadian tire or the home depot.

not reccomended for use by itself you can use some polyurethane or fiberglass resin underneath works fine alone but it's only availible in small quantities and it's 50.00 a box

so i use it as a final coat with fiberglass or polyurethane do not try to fiberglass over epoxy it won't stick.

the reason i sealed the tank this way is i have had to do all my work in my basement fiberglass resin was out of the question so was 2 part marine paint i had to choose some low odour alternatives the stone effects is low odour but pricey so i used polyurethane in lou of fiberglass resin and it's less expensive it has a bit of a stench but won't knock you out.

ok this sucks now i really have a dillema all of my running tanks need to be moved and i have to wait two week's before i can even think about ordering glass.

i live in a rental and it turns out all of my carpet is being replaced so what does that mean to me my already overstocked tanks need to be moved and i dont have anywhere to put them and to top it off i just found out less than an hour before the carpet got dropped off.
