Well, if anyone can point me in the direction of a stocklist of their Central and South American cichlids with scientific names, prices, and sizes I might be interested.

Pain in the ass to look through the vendor forum and website and not get anything solid.

Are you being for real? I think you can handle the lack of scientific names. If the list is not good enough for you, the group order is not for you....Not being a jerk, you just seem a bit more pessimistic than necessary.

attackfish where are you located??

I'm in Aberdeen.
Forgot to add that I'm interested in the Black Barred Midas if its not already sold/someone else wants it.

Not really sure what else I want. Just looking to stock my 55G that is currently holding two common plecs and I'm trying to find what would do good with them until I donate them to my friends pond.

I've also got a 30''x16''x24'' that I really want to stock but right now all its got in it is gravel. Not even water.

When do all the orders have to be placed? Just wondering if I had enough time to get the 35 cycled It'd make a nice mixed corycat tank.

You're right, I can deal with a lack of scientific names. But seeing as I don't know squat about catfish, it would be nice to be able to search scientific names to find out information instead of common names which can be applied to multiple species. As it is I have to Google the common name, find a scientific name, then go to www.fishbase.org or www.planetcatfish.com and hopefully look up the fish in question.

What I dislike is the lack of pricing and sizes. All it says is "Blackbelt".

It's just not how I'd run a business website.

If anyone gets some free grammodes 1-3" (which aren't listed on the website?), I'll take them. :D

If the 55 gallon is cycled, why do you need to cycle the 35? Just swap some media or substrate. I've avoided cycling a tank in the last 5 years by moving established filters (or media).

The problem with transferring media is that both tanks are running AC110 HOB filters. So I'd need to remove the white biomedia pad from one side of the AC110 and transfer it to the 35's AC110.

Could I just cram the 35 with plants to speed up the cycling process? I was planning to plant Java fern allong the back and sides with elodea floating at the top...

I hear you man. Post some common names and I'll help you search :)
