Syns are like most Central American cichlids. Decently aggressive. They're mid-range I'd say. Able to hold their own, but really not that aggressive if given their space (6' tank and up) (all bets off when breeding). They get to a decent size (14" or so) and have amazing adult colors.
Harry's syns are the best I've ever seen, actually. His progny are all across the US.
Here's what he PM'd me this evening-
"Let me know if anyone else is interested in pearsi or synspila. Someone with a serious bocourti breeding project could also have my adults; I had absolutely no success with them and probably would only keep one as a specimen. (His bocourti are amazing, 13" easily, very orange.)
Also available: Tropheus moorii kaisers, and I might even be able to scare up a pair of the Bahia Reds if someone wanted to take a shot at them. These are mine in a second generation, but I wouldn't mind seeing someone else with room breed them and then give me back a few for the next generation."
So, let me know and I'll get in contact with him. Just make sure you guys have tanks large enough, as he wants them to go to good homes.
