To be honest, if it's an MFK fishing meet then I suggest leaving the family at home. Depending on the what we do for fishing we could be out there all day and kids would just be miserable and want to go home. They'd probably end up hating fish.

If we want to plan a kids/family fishing trip i would suggest fish lake over by lake wenatchee. The last timei went there we scored so many fish it was scary. I must have changes lures 2 dozen times and couldn't find anything the damn rainbows wouldn't bite on..LOL But i'm game for a monster fish trip for sure!!!!

I'd like to try a shot at some keeper strug this spring. I've got a few rods so we can share. if we time it right we might be able to hit the American Shad run or the Lamprey Eel Run.. theres a few other runs we could hit as well.. I'm not wildly familiar with the Columbia but I know theres plenty of good fishing.. and if we plan it out we can make if fun for everyone, including kids.

Big Largemouth bass where? Potholes? There is lots of great Smallmouth fishing at Banks lake and Roosevelt.
