Bullhead cats. Any natives can go in with them. Some type of loach that I can't remember the name of.

i think you can put pretty much anything with koi as long as its not somethin that will eat them and can withstand the temprature

I have kept channel cats and bullheads in w/ my koi w/ great success. In the summer air temps sometimes get into the 100's, but average is more like 80's and 90's. During the winter temps sometimes drop down below 0 (maybe 5-10 days out of the whole winter). We leave our fish out all year and have never had any die until earlier this summer from oxygen depletion. Hope this helps!

Bullheads are good. And I have heard of channel cats with koi too. Goldfish work, of course, and bitterlings. Bitterlings will keep the koi parasite-free.
