Water Change Regimines?

I do about 50% on the large tank once to every other week. The smaller tank gets a 50% every other week.

I usually just siphon the top of the sand and maybe once every 3-6 months, I'll vac the sand.

I do a 50% once or twice a week on my predator tank. I do a 30% everyday on my Discus tank.

20% a week but if pay my own water probably I'll do atleast 30 to 40 a week.

I voted 50% because I do 2 25% WC's a week on my heaviest bio-loaded tank. I syphon the bare glass bottom of any solids each WC. and 1x a month i do a 50% and pretty much rip the PVC and driftwood out 'n rinse it down good. rip apart filters ect. which I also rinse at least 1x a week of solids.

I see recently that many people are either worried they will Kill/Remove their BB if you do more than 30% (Yes a 30% WC is too much, to some people-NOT ME-)What do you think are the best WC % that you use? What would you avoid?

BB grows in and on surfaces.... it is not free floating in the water... so even doing a 99% w/c will not effect ur BB in anyway...

I do it whenever I feel like it.. I usually end up doing 50-50x2% per week.. partly to keep the water pristine partly because I enjoy it..

That depends on the tank. I have a 110 gal discus tank that has juvie discus in it. It gets 50-75% daily. My 125 CA/SA tank gets 30-50% every 5 days. My 35 with my pair of cons gets 30% weekly. My 30 itty bitty species tank gets 25-30% every other week. My Bridgesii snails tanks get 30-50% twice a week. So really it just depends on the stocking of the tank.

everyone does everything a little different, i generally do at least 1 50% water change of my 75 gal, and usually another 20% later in the week just to clean up poop. so i picked 70% a week, just not all at once.
