no where
before i moved i wasnt allowed to do much water changes, so now that i got my own pad ( apt ) free water ( hot water is on elec ) how much water change should i do a week?

25-50% I do around 50% but my tanks pretty stocked

From what i have read here at MFK, 25-50 % of your total tank volume should be changed out weekly. However, 25% should be sufficient as long as your water parameters are good. For my tank, I do a 40-50% water changes a week since my tank is in my garage and I siphon my tank water to my grass. It definitely is nice to have free water...

I do 10% Mon 25% Weds then 50% Sat, tank is pretty stocked too.. When I did 50% once a week. My water was around 40-50ppm those strips aren't accurate.

I do about 60-70% per week.

Depends on your stock, everyone will have their own WC schedule.

30-40% every sunday.

id do atleast 40% but thats just me

I think a lot of it depends on the sizes of your fish and how much you feed them. The general consensus is 25- 50% weekly. The more stocked and how much you feed them, I would def lean more to more % a week.
When I kept a stocked s. cichlid tank, I usually did 50% every two weeks. I always personally thought that 50% WC in such a short period of time would be too much... but that just me.. MY 50% WC biweekly worked great and my fish thrived...Hope this helps

If your going to go through all the trouble, you might as well do 40%-60% when your doing a water change. Especially since the water is free!
