Water changing how much how often

Speaking of water changes and if they stress your fish…. Definitely doesn’t bother my Fahaka.

I did a total of 150% a week, 2x75% water changes

On all 4 tanks I do 2 gallons 3 times a week.

My tanks get 10% water replacements once a week, which is to be increased to 50% twice a week as soon as I can get my hands on a good Python and a sufficiently large rubber cattle trough.

Make that a total of 3 times a week, 53% on Sundays and 38% on Tuesdays+Thursdays. I have gotten enough practice carrying those buckets to replace such large amounts of water without flooding the house, so I don't have to wait for the Python and cattle trough.

The NO3 was <5 ppm when I was only doing the 53% on Sundays. I only recently added the dual 38% weekday replacements, so I'll be sure to share wha the NO3 is after them and this Sunday's 53% water replacement.
