I know I shouldnt have, but when I was a a far away not lfs, there was a 10" water cow with fungus all over its side, i felt really bad for it, so I bought it. It currently resides in a 29 gallon aquarium with a 6" Striped talking catfish. I know this is to small for them, and Im currently working on getting my mom to let me set up a 55 gallon for them(i have it). I have a marineland emperor 400 and a pennplax cascade canister on the 29 right now. Th fungus is primerily gone now. What tankmates can go with it?

K, got the 55 gallon set up and running. Any suggestions on tankmates? ANy good foods to wean it off live?

could it be an eleotris picta or marble sleeper goby?

Would be my guess. If so, anything large enough not to be swallowed, but not too aggressive should be fine. Openwater fish do better than other bottom dwellers, as they do get a bit territorial defending caves and whatnot. Tall bodied fish are your best bet.

get some pics up :)

Its a Eleotris picta as angelo stated, I will try to get pics tommorow morning, but my camera phone blows them up so much that its to blurred. How do u resize?
