WATERCHANGES FOR RAY GROWTH

100% water change a day? OMG!! ok it may make the fish grow a bit faster but think about how much water you're using, you're water bill must be hitting the roof each month, how do you find the funds? i would just stick to a 25% water change every couple of days, 100% water change isn't worth the couple of extra millimetres of growth.

a true aquarist isnt too worried about this aspect, as the food bill for rays cost the most. but i would think that you would be disturbing the rays contantly, that acute stress syndrome of long drawn out spots of stress. if i was a ray and the water quality was kept fine and you did regular water changes, id just like to chill for a week

NOT GROWING THEM FOR BREEDING REALLY. I JUST WANT THEM ABOUT 12 INCHES SO I CAN PUT SOME LARGER FISH WITH THEM.. I GUESS ILL SLOW DOWN WHEN THEY HIT 12. FROM 4 TO 7 INCHES IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS I WOULD SAY THATS MORE THAN A MILLIMETER. IF ANYONE SEEN THAT MUCH GROWTH ANOTHER WAY LET ME KNOW PLEASE

I've heard certain fish more than others relese hormones that retard growth so that they and their tank mates don't out grow their tanks.

I guess a WC will solve that.

IM GONNA KEEP TRYING IT MY WAY FOR A BIT. ILL KEEP PICS UP. HE SHOULD BE 12 INCHES BY JAN. 1. OK MAYBE NOT THAT BIG. I ALSO FEED HIM ONE CRAWLER EVERY TWO TO THREE HOURS. OLD BODYBIULDING TRICK. WE WILL SEE. ALL ITS COSTING ME IS TIME. AND WATER.
