Watercow Goby eats REd Devil!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
He's grown quite a bit since I got him, I'm doubting that he'll grow much longer but I'd like to see him really fill out! There's not as much info on him out there. Most sources say He'll get 9-14 inches but I've seen pictures of them over 2 feet long! He's currently about 13 inches:) Maybe 13.5 after the red devil;)
Does anybody else keep a water cow? HE's not very good with anything else except a sleeper that he lets live but he's eaten every tank mate or gets stressed if he can't eat them!

Really cool fish. And not cool because it's eating other fish just neat looking. I saw one in another guys tank here and ever since I have been planning to buy one. Just need to find a deal on one. I really want one to add to my tank. Other one I saw was smaller than yours but not too much. Cool hand feeding lol

Really - Sadist? That's a little much don't you think? Predatory Fish eat other fish- Big Garth is a wild fish! I love cichlids- So does my Water cow aparently:)
Our reasons for keeping fish might be different. If you knew me you would not think that I am a sadist- The red devil didn't suffer he just got eaten like he may have in the wild. My point wasn't to offend anybody- I have a store and people bring in fish that are real aggressive that don't work out in their home tanks that I wont sell in my store either and donate them to my watercow who gladly eats them. He eats a lot of red devils, firemouths, small oscars and the occasional mbuna- The deal is I quarantine the fish give it a few days in a larger tank with other fish and if it's still a wicked fish he gets eaten if requested by the person donating. The person with the red devil brought it in solely to feed to garth because the red devil had been a horrible menace to his tank ( I don't sell red devils either for that very reason)
Kind regards
Hey-DIDYSIS, IS that an Astatotilapia Latifasciata? in your avitar? Victorian Cichlids are so amazing! I'm looking for some Pundamilia Nyererei anchor island sp.
