Watering garden with aquarium water?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I actually only have pots, I live in a condo. But I'll water some bulbs and if they die they'll always comeback hopefully.

It's good for them. It might have something to do with nitrogen fixation, but I'm guessing a bit.

its not wasting water, its a benifit to your yard, gardens, potted plants. using a chemical fertilizer is bad. only way its a waste of water is if it ends up running off into the street. watergardens , rain barrels and that sort of thing are great. recycling tank water for your yard is wayy better than turning on your hose and watering your plants and lawn.

I use my tank water to water my garden. My 150g is right by my front window and we have flowers like day Lillie's and hostas. I just drain the water directly out my window. The plants benefit and I reduce my water bill. Win win!
