Well, I have WC flower ray. It took me some bad experience before learning better how to acclimate them. Since the travel from Columbia to Israel is over 2 days door to door the rays come is real stress and prasites are the worse enemy.
I was always successful getting them good after arrival, but in all cases have seen hexamita. Do a preventive treat with metronidazol and paraziquantel. There are older posts around the acclimation of flower and tiger rays that are quite similar.
Overall for water condition - try soft and a bit higher temp (~28C) and a bit lower PH (~6.5), later on you can get them into tap water.
Also, in the begging have them eat live food - blood worms, california worms, earth worms, shrimps. After a while I got her eating dry food (hikary sinking).
Good Luck - plesae update.
