OK major retardation of an update but here goes the fry have swam through the divider in the tank that separates the Midas from the fry and parents but the Midas is NOW PROTECTING THE FRY FROM THE PARENTS LOL. He has about 40% of the fry on his side.

What do the fry eat at that size?
Does it take long for them to start looking more like little fish?

Yes they are starting to get their markings now. They have been on a diet of Mostly hair algae that I grew and placed in there but when they first became free swimming they were on Infusioria that I cultured using potatoe and Romaine Lettuce. They got bigger so they are off that and now eating egg yolk, whole potatoe, Algae and Brine shrimp. Soon to be on hikari first bites along with blood worm.
SBrown I do have a video of him stealing them and guarding but photobucket wont let me upload them for some reason. Ill get pics tonight though.
