I really like these guys, they are only about 1 to 1.25" long. I have six 3 males and 3 females they are always showing off trying to get the females attention, great interaction. The neons look nice and there are 6 Ottos and an assortment of Amano and Ghost shrimp. I have DYI CO2 that have the Val and Crypts growing well and fistfull of Water Sprite removed weekly.

Thanks, thaty are a lot of fun to watch.

I ment to post this in the media section but missed.

Very nice looking Rams. Mine just dropped eggs last night. They didn't eat them this time, so I'm holding out hope.

Nice - wish I could get plants to grow in my setups.

Do I see some hatchets in there too?

Yes you do.

That looks great. I have something similar going on right now, but still waiting on my T5HO fixture to get here. I have 3 females (they didn't have any males in) and bought 15 ghost shrimp because I figured my pictus would grab a few.

Funniest thing happened... 3 days later, 0 ghost shrimp remain. Turns out the rams would attack them in a pack... the 3 of them would just home in on a shrimp and tear it to shreds then eat its insides.

My pictus are also afraid of the shrimp... who knew?

The Rams look great. I like the planted tank. I never had any luck with Rams. I may set up a smaller tank for my children with a planted scheme. But of course I will be in charge of maintenance. Nice job, Aquanero.

Ironically the rams at my LFS were decent looking at best and lasted a few days... But my $5.99 petsmart rams look better, eat like pigs, have a long return policy, and are actively taking over the tank.
