WC Rams for Rapps settled in

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Amazing! If you get any spawns you should send some fry my way

They look great Tom ;) I considered picking some up myself. Its not often you see F0's available. I am glad someone picked a few up. I am curious on the longevity of these vs the asian farm raise. Keep us posted ok.

Thanks guys.

So far I've had them about a month and a half and they all acclamated well. The tank has been running about two years, I just moved the last Discus about two months ago and was figuring out what I wanted to do with it when I saw the F0 Rams on TUIC. Since I've toyed with the idea of Rams for a while I figured I'd go for it. So far it's working out the way I was hoping it would. I love Amano shrimp & Ottos and wanted Cardinals but couldn't find any around so settled on Neons and a few Hatchets. I think I enjoy this more than my others, very peacefull with alot of color and movement. I am also curious about their longivity and fertility as compaired to the farmed strains and weather they make better parents. We'll see.

What PH, hardness, and temp you keeping them in?

PH is 6.4, I don't know the hardness but the water is soft and the temp is 84.

I bought wild-caught Rams from Jeff last year, and I keep 'em in the same conditions ... low Ph, soft water, temp at 84 ... they are doing great :)

Yes, Jeff does have some awsome stock and he's a really nice guy, always very helpful and firendly. I relly am enjoying these guys.
