The only ferts I use are Either Seachem Excel or Brightwell Aquatics Bioavailable Carbon and Seachem Flourish in conjunction with the CO2.

I'll stop by and check out your tanks I'd like to see them and I'll show you the bubble counter and valve it's so simple you'll laugh when you see it but I promise it works.
Hey if it works I'm with it bro. I actually have a full c02 tank and a beer keg regulator in my shed but it only has one gauge and no solenoid or whatever and not sure how to set it all up correctly so its just ...well...sitting in the shed LOL I think its high pressure guage and I probably need a low pressure one, then the bubble counter and diffuser etc.I gotta try and see if I can buy just another gauge for it.Then again, may as well just get it all from scratch.Probably a waste of money though.i'm gonna build the c02 thing in that diy link and see how it goes first.

Hey Tom, you going to fill us in on your opinion of these F0 vs captive/farm raised fish? I am really curious.

After about two months these guys seem pretty hardy and acclamated much eaiser than I thought thay would. I've no serious pairings yet but a lot of postering and courtship behaivor. I do think one pair might have spawned but the Dwarf Loachs got there before I could get a good look and confermation. They eat well and are curently on a diet of NLS Thera A+ and brine shrimp I actually put in more for the Cardnal/Neon school. All in all they are very nice and easy to care for very healthy and seemingly happy. The Ph is mid 6's water on the soft side no number I don't test for it usually and temp hovers around 84-85.
