WC water

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Only my garage is at street level. The house and plantings are uphill. There lies the problem, the driveway is all concrete up to the street. Doing water change at night won't work because that's when the complaint was made (8:05pm). The water runs down hill only 100ft and never pools because it's a hill. It never makes it to any street drains. Pretty much dries within an hour but still the rude complaint. I guess when your messing with the environment people will attack but yet they are willing to overlook other rules like illegal parking. They have a huge boat parking in the dirt which I've never complained about. And no, I will not pump the water into their boat. We just got to all get along. Thanks for the suggestions.

How about you give them a nice lake to go boating on? ;)

Bathroom is upstairs. I hate to be pumping water into the house. It will have atleast 75 feet of hose plus the water colume. If I knew I was going to get into the hobby, I would of had plumbing put in the garage.
Current practice is to let the water runs down the driveway and into the curb grassy area but because of the slope, a lot of water runs off the grass into the street. You can see how steep it is. Any over watering on the slope will only wash dirt down so I don't want to pump into the property planting.

You can make a modified t junction on the output of your main pump/canister and close the output to tank use the pump to pump the water out to the larger grass area I see in front of the house(above the garage)

At the end of the day it sounds like your neighbor is one of the typical enviro nazis that really doesn't have a true understanding. I wouldn't do anything that is causing you to go out of your way to please her. I'd simply explain the situation in a small letter to her. If she still has issues after that, let her take it to the city. Or you bring up the boat parking issue and let her realize what you're letting her get away with.

Just point something out that's wrong about there property/lawn. Or say that it's better then dumping it into your sewage, as its clean fresh water.

Just pump it into the grass instead of the driveway so it doesn't run off for the mean time. Then, go down to city hall and see what their take on it is. Get a permit if you have to. I don't think the law will be against you on this one.

I like this one and I'd also look into that boat and the legalities of where it is stored....hopefully there is an issue with it that you can give the owners a hard time about .

I have been but I try not to be these days, sometimes people just take you there....It could give those neighbors something else to concern themselves with while they wish that they'd left the poster alone and minded their business.
