God he hates the camera i did the best i could i think his colour has got better from eating all those hikari pellets.

Can't tell I'd have to go back and look again. But keep feeding those Hikari pellets! That is good stuff, are you feeding Gold or Staple? I feed Gold and these bottom feeder wafers to mine, I keep the schedule irregular too. Let him fast for a bit as well, the colors will improve rapidly if you feed less often. Every once in a while I will throw in a guppy or two.. (Raised in my ten gallon of course, not store bought).

Well here is mine, he is 13 inches and absolutely eats anything!
