about six months ofter loosing my existing oscar at five years to a case of hole in the head that got her in the end no matter what I did.

Have a 60g ready after this 12g.

Do you have to starve them to bring out there colour is there another way? because i could'nt do that to him anyway my oscar is growing quite fast so yer hopefully by the end of this year he will be meduim size at the momet he is only about 17cm and about 7-9 cm deep so yer.


P.S nice oscars

No you don't starve the fish, you just don't feed as frequently as you would to get rapid growth. I fed once a day, then twice a day, then not at all, and so on. The important thing is to vary the diet, and do not get on a schedule.

April when I bought him, true to size! He wasn't even two inches:

Two months later in July, he had grown to about 4 inches:

And today, 11 months later, barely 8 inches standard length (I don't feed him every day because I'm trying to bring out color):

My oscar just learned how to play with the ping pong ball he just went nuts at it it was so funny hope he does it agian can't take a picture because he dosent like tank light that much so yer also very nice oscars everyone also here is a link to some really crap videos of my oscar they kinda really really suck but oh well here is the link........
