As a a catfish lover I’m down with that, I’d love to have one of those. I’m not sure what size fish he could be kept with though. He has a wels catfish body type and gets to 10 inches although his mouth doesn’t look very wide..... This guy is going down on my list of catfish I want.
If fugupuff can get some I’m going to have to sit down and rethink some of my stocking plans.

If I could get one I would buy it its own tank and pcf says it can tolerate a wide range of temps so wouldn't even have to heat it

A couple species tanks with each one being different than the others would make for a very interesting project. We could see in what set up it does best and what happens when X happens and more.

Hmm, the main problem with that would be acquiring a group of them but that could be taken care of.
I’m assuming the ponds are well taken care of meaning there are no predators that are able to get them and they have regular wayer changes?
Wait are we talking about a fishkeepers pond or a normal pond that formed outside?

Hmm I think letting them live in a nature made pond but preventing the animals from getting them would be rather interesting. We could potentially see if something in nature that we can not recreate helps them do better.
