Some are fast growers and some are slow.

I still feed the smaller Hikari sinking carnivore pellet but I think its time to step up to massivore and maybe add a bit more tilapia filet. I will get that weeksii to grow even bigger!

they have some of the best coloration compared to other bichirs. but....they are slow growers. and they dont eat. and its frustrating. and im ready to give up
The big Weeksii is 22". I have another that is 13" but really is growing slowly. My big guy went from 9" to his current size in about 2 1/2 to 3 years
This was the way I was feeling when I started this Back in December of 2013... That is why I wanted to update this. This fish has come a long way and was worth the wait.
Ha mine 6 months or more wc at 5" and is still 5" .... And does not et or come out of hiding lol iv seen him eat maybe 3 times total
