As someone who has been competing over the last 7 years, 8 shows total, I would not worry so much about the scale. I would be happy to gain 5 lbs of lbm in a year...that may not sound like much, but over time that adds up. 15lbs of muscle is not possible, unless other chemicals/hormones are included. Don't get caught up in buying every supplement under the sun...supplements are just that, they supplement your diet.....and as far as the anti-creatine post....there has not been more of a studied supplement than creatine. My top supplements on a budget are whey, multi vitamin, creatine.
Get your diet down and make sure you are eating enough...write everything down that you eat. I haven't missed a meal in over a year. I also weigh everything I eat. What is your macro nutrient breakdown now? What is your training style like? Cardio? Supplement? How old and how long have you been training? How much do you weigh?
