Weird Fish Habits?

not long after i got my midas he stopped eating more than one pellet at a time, if i threw in 2 he would eat one while it was suspended in the water but once the other one hit the gravel he wouldnt touch it. so now i feed him a pellet at a time while i have my cereal in the morning before work.
 
my peacock spiney eel pokes his head out from under a rock and watches my hand i move my hand up and down and its liike hes nodding
 
My oscar has a little 4 inch plant in his tank that he plays with, I took it out onetime and he laided on his side for 2 hours until I put it back ,then he was fine . Guess I took his toy...
 
after I feed my smallest oscar hikari cichlid gold (red in color) he sits there for like 3 minutes trying to eat the knob on my stealth heater(also red) its funny lol
 
My little ngt watches everything that goes on in the tank from behind a rock and sometimes it will bolt across the tank and stop right in front of a floating object,look at it and then turn around and go back to its rock.
 
I have a ramshorn snail that likes to surf. He lets go of the glass and goes with the current all over the tank, while holding his body all the way out of his shell. He does it constantly and never seems to be struggling to latch back onto something, so it seems intentional.
