I saw some orandas with bodies nearly as big around as softballs. They were selling for $100 apiece!

i also saw a 3 foot niger catfish housed in a 3 1/2 long tank. weird and i feel sorry for that monster because it is not for sale.
ive seen alot of weird things in my day...takes alot to turn my head.....
my all time weirdest LFS fish was a saltwater fish labled "Rainford Perch", i am a saltwater enthusiast, and ive been searching for 3 years for an ID on this fish....three years later and the fish is still at the store, still for sale, and still on my future stocklist......just need to get around to setting up my 75 FOWLR
but as far as freshwater, the weirdest ive ever seen was a little ich covered clarius (Channallabes sp.)....terrestrial catfish.....they wanted $15, and i kick myself every time i think about it for not buying it. it died the next day.....it has since been added to the "holy grail" list....along with maliputo, polynemus, and BB grouper.....
