what is the wierdest thing that happend to you while keeping fish

weirdest fish incident

One of my pacus jumped out of the tank and my cats, all six of them were biting and clawing him. by the time i found him he was extremely dry and bloody, i thought he was dead and when i picked him up i saw him take a breath. i threw him back in and he sunk to the bottom. I checked on him later and he was swimming around. A week latewr he was 100% again!!
I lost a small yellow lab and considered him a snack or a casualty of war.
About a month later while cleaning out the fluval I found the lab, in the sponge compartment of the filter where he lived compressed between the sponges and plastic canister wall. He'd grown about in inch. The others in the tank were twice his size.
To this day I can't figure out how he got in there cause there's no way he could have fit through the intake strainer.

Early on in fishkeeping I had a ten gallon tank with a bunch of fish.Eventually they all died,and the tank just sat there turning green for about six months or so.When I finally decided to clean it out there was a weather loach still living in the gravel.
I also had a pleco go missing for an entire day.He was probably out of the water for fourteen hours or so.My wife found him under the dresser and went to dispose of him,but as she was taking him out side he moved.She put him back in the tank. He was completely dry and white.His eyes were sunk back in his head and his tail broke off. He eventually made a full recovery after about two months.
lets see.. other than chasing and catching my TSN on the floor at the LFS last week..
we had a Thai crab go missing about 24 hours after we got him. Thought he was either hiding or dead.. found him alive about 8 days later in my son's bathroom at the end of a long hallway. He's still alive, we put him back in the big tank and he floated for about half an hour, other than that he seems to have had no ill effects.
