My brother was out fishing on the Santa Fe river (N. Florida, not new mexico) and got whacked by a jumping sturgeon. Black and blue on half his chest and arm for a few weeks...

Back in highschool, in prehistoric times, I had a running incident of feeders disappearing from my holding vat. I was sure my brother was feeding out my preds to show off to his friends. I accused him, he denied it, blah, blah, blah...
After a few weeks of these continuing disappearances, I happened to come home early from school (nearly graduation) and noticed what looked like a leak from one of the saltwater tanks. Closer examination revealed a wet trail going from the tank to the feeder vat.
It turned out that my mediterranean octopus figured out that it could crawl out of its tank, gorge itself on feeders, and make it back to its tank without any adverse effects. I guess the trail was dried out enough to not be noticed by the time I usually arrived home.
I clamped the octos cover down so it couldn't forage for itself. At least I had an answer to why it was off its feed lately.
BTW, I still have yet to apologize to my brother for accusing him of feeder theft.

LOL! Never heard of an octopus on the prowl at night out of the water.

on time i had a fiddler crab and he went missing for about 2 and a half weeks and when i was about to change the filter cartrages and i found him in there

Years and years ago I used to keep goldfish, not knowing any better at the time I used to clean the tank with the fish still in there, kinda working around them. Since I used UGF the second I disturbed the gravel the water basically tuned black as I removed it and the gravel to be cleaned. As I returned the UGF to it's position on the bottom of the tank I inadvertadly trapped a fish under it (with the water the way it was I could barely see anything)

I didn't notice the missing fish untill months later when I cleaned the tank again, this time removing all the fish before hand, it had survived trapped sideways under the filter plate for 3 months...

My Jack Dempsey had just eaten a mouthful of food, and then my male convict came up and flared at the JD. The JD opened its mouth to lock jaws with the con, but also spit out the fish food. The con gobbled it up and swam away.

I also think it's funny when one fish tries to eat its own poop, spits it out, and then another fish tries to eat the same poop.

Finally, I have baby Green Terrors that like to spit mouthfuls of sand at my senegal bichir.
