Oh, forgot about this one!

This was a rescue from Petsmart we got a while back. Long story short, we went back to the quarantine room to see him and someone idiot didn't close the cage right and of course, the snake escaped. The employee had no clue where to look, of course. My fiance found him 100% stuck to a glue trap on the floor right next to the cage. We spent the next hour of our time slowly peeling the snake off the glue trap using the cricket dusting to remove the tackiness of the glue where we had already removed the snake. We convinced them that they needed to give us the snake as a rescue since we were the ones to save it. The next day we walked out with it free of charge. It was an incredible feeling.

From the whole ordeal, he only managed to lose a few scales and some slightly injured skin. Since then he has shed twice and all damage has been healed!!! Success!

Well it's not a pet but it lives in my back garden.
Once I was outside in the summer when I saw my cat rustling in the plants, when I walked up to the plants I saw a little common frog near my cat, so I put my cat indoors to release the frog, I put the frog in a plant near my water feature and for some reason he decided to stay with us, every day e would have a little hop around the garden, sit in the water feature and then go back into the plant. Sadly one winter the frog was found frozen in the garden after it snowed :(

good to hear! what kind of snake? There was an ordeal with several cornsnakes at a pet-smart several years back that stopped my doing business there ... they were all in a glass tank, with no heat, and no water. The tank was being held together with duct tape, and naturally, the snakes got stuck. i called an employee over, to get him to help, and he ripped them off the tape. One was torn nearly in half, and it died seconds later, and the rest had their skin ripped off. When i proceeded to yell at the employee, he said that the dead one was sleeping, and that the others were just shedding. :irked:

Mine is a Pueblan milk snake. We spent almost two hours working on him to save him with as little damage as possible. Well worth it if you ask me.

That's not good about your situation. I would be irate if I had to witness it. We didn't give petsmart the opportunity to "help", we just took over. They were going to try cutting the snake off th glue trap. We knew there was a different way.

good job! I know I would do the same. After the guy denied that the snakes were hurt I ended up kicking him in the jewels (I was seven or so at the time) If I could go back in time, I would have just walked out, snakes and all.

Pretty similar story to yours craufishguy I found a baby red ear in the belly of a catfish after a day of catfishing and cleanup them up after named him lucky had him for about 3 years and then I needed a place to put a problem African cichlid for a while and the African killed him :banghead:
