Heya, folks. I picked up two interesting looking pbass from an LFS today, hoping they were close enough in size to get Bloop to eat more greedily. They were a tad on the small side, though, and she thrashed them both pretty badly after I got them acclimated. One looks like it MIGHT be a hybrid with some orino traits in it, and the other is strange, pale, and has some extra faint horizontal stripes. Any thoughts on what might be going on with them in terms of species/hybridization? I'll photograph again in a few days after they're better settled in, but they already are a lot happier hanging out with my little ocell brats.

Now, on to the housing advice -- these guys are about an inch, inch and a half shy of Bloop's size (for those unfamiliar, she is a 7" female orino). My current plan is to try reintroducing them in about a month after they've been fattened up on Massivore. Should I just let them take their lumps then? Will dividers actually be of any use in this case?

I don't know what they are. I had some that looks like them. ill get pics later but that had the gold or white dots by the black dots and the red tail, I thought they where kels, and the more mine grow them more I think, the spangels are coming in a lil. So the older they get the more I guess they'll look like kels

if you look closely they have bars in between their bars.

Phhhht hahaha, guys I would die!

Yeah, that pale guy has some fainter bars inbetween. It'll be interesting to see how they develop though. They are excited by the smell of Massivore, but don't quite what to know what to do with it.

CREAM members will storm your house if they turn out to be interms.
