Stripey is still going strong. Here are some water change and feeding fun pics. He tolerates me touching him, and loves snooping at the camera.

Cool update. So will your kels join this group? What size tank are they in?

The kels have a while to go before they join up, I want them to be at least 8, if not closer to 10 inches before I add them to the 300 gallon. They are currently in a 55, doing swell. I am half-dead from water changes (this is how I grew out Bloop and Stripey) but I can't add an intermediate sized grow out tank to our house's footprint.

Wow thats pretty cool for a fish to tolerate touching! you are real lucky to have bonded with it. lots of peacocks are human shy from what i have experienced :/ touching is so far away for me.
