Those guys both look very interesting.
The second one has some cool/interesting faint bars in between like fish said.
I would leave em seperated and get an inch or 3 on em first.
Well, they're both on Massivore now. The greener one with more black speckles I think MIGHT be a Floridian mono/ocell, which is great because the same batch that are still at the LFS are starting to show some really cool patterns, all in black still. The spangling is limited to the edges of his bars.
The silvery guy is still mysterious. His faint bars haven't faded, but it's still too soon to tell. He also has some lighter spangling around his bars, which are silver here where they would normally be gold on other pbass. I am adding some more pictures so you guys can scratch your heads along with me.
Monthly update for Mr. Silvery Oddballimus Prime: I was worried that he might have been silvery in the same way like one mono I had previously that never learned to eat pellets. But... for the past few weeks, he's eating Massivore and Hikari Sinking Cichlid Gold daily. Color's better, but still seems a little washed out.
So, that in mind, do you guys think he might be some kind of wacky azul (kelberi? orino?) hybrid? I know they can be silvery in the same way he is.
