Cheers to that my friend.

So, for those who don't understand how this works:

Brett Favre hates 2 a days. He hates training camps. He doesn't need them. Most veteran players do. He feigns retirement or injury until the pre season is underway, and then decides to play. He knew he was going to play a while ago. This has been his standard for many years (missing camp for 1 reason or another).

Yeah, and? People accept that? JMO, but I don't think that's right. Sure, he might be good enough to skip 2 a days and training camp, but I feel that he shouldn't. Why should he when most of his teammates are there working hard every day? I don't care how good he is, he doesn't deserve special treatment.

As long as teams let him do it, he's gonna keep doing it. I would do the same. It's the teams fault.

Uh...what? How does that help the lions chances? I wish I was Matt Millen. With all those draft picks Id have you guys winning superbowls left and right. I love how Charles Rogers and Kevin Williams are no longer in the NFL. :D Sorry dude, you have to KINDA laugh.
All I can do is laugh at the Lions.
It was a joke. You know? Haha funny.. Kinda like the guy posted after my post.
Charles Rodgers is not in the NFL anymore because he was a LOSER, just google his name and take a look at all the trouble he has been into...
Rogers has fathered 5 children, two of which were born before he graduated from high school.
He was arrested in September 2008 and charged with assault and battery of a female acquaintance and the charges were later dropped(probably paid her off). In December 2008, Rogers was sentenced to attend sobriety court or face jail time after violating his probation. He tested positive for Vicodin. In March 2009, Rogers was jailed for violating probation. On September 16, 2009, Rogers was arrested in Novi, MI for driving under the influence of alcohol after being found unresponsive behind the wheel of his car by police. Rogers was arrested again in Novi, MI on January 5, 2010, having passed out after drinking at an On the Border restaurant, which was a violation of a sobriety court order, and subsequently sentenced to a 93-day jail term.
In August 2009, in an interview with ESPN's Jamielle Hill, Rogers said he "blew everyday" which means he smoked marijuana regularly. He also said he was just "really smokin'" and that was what led to his downfall in the NFL.
Rogers was ordered by a judge in April of 2010 to return $6.1 million of his $9.1 million signing bonus to the Detroit Lions, because his drug use violated the terms of his NFL contract.
As for Kevin Williams, the only Kevin Williams I know plays for the Vikings. If you meant Kevin Jones he isn't playing because he is injury proned, with missing all of 2009 with an injury to his ankle I think he's pretty much done also...
GO LIONS!!!

Now he's officially back. Even though I'm a Vikings fan,

It happens a lot. Most veterans who are secure in their starting positions tend to slack off attendance in training camps. As they get towards the end of their career, they tend to show up later and later. Strahan was notorious for that, but showed up that first Sunday ready to go.
