Beefing it in a 10g should be fine, and i dont think feeding live will be bad, aslong as the feeders are qt. The only thing i dont like feeding live is its to expensive, plus ince you put it in the main tank it will learn to eat pellets and frozen food, it will learn from the rest.

Just imagine us that buys 10" WC specimen, i bet they ate live foods too before they got caught and put it in our tank.

If I wait a year to get one, I will definitely have to grow it out for a while if they typically come in this small.

This why i say get it now. That way it can be an immediate resident in the new tank. I did this for most of the year leading up to the upgrade.

The hype is real lol, the wife even gave me the all-clear to bite on this one if it turns out to be legit, it's wetspot though, so unless they got lied to I doubt they're being deceptive, otherwise I'd suspect a scam
