Are you going to ask Wetspot where these are comming from? That's the only way to really get to the bottom of this Trimac/FH question. I'd hate to find out these are from a questionable source, since Wetspot has a great reputation. We'll just have to waite and see.

yep sent them an email already. I even through this link in the email.

Look up The Cichlid Exchange online. That the owners company as well. Steve, and his employee Shay, are Both straight shooters and will answer all your questions about the Wetspots stock. Unfortunately the minions that filter ALL their calls are absolute arrogant kids that insist they know everything. You have to be persistent, but when you get through to them, you'll get your info.

I contacted them a couple weeks ago and got this response:

Hello Christopher,

Thank you for your inquiry. It is supposed to be the true Amphilophus trimaculatum.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

TheWet Spot Tropical Fish Staff :)

I bought a Amphilophus trimaculatum (aka Three-Spot Cichlid) from you guys a couple weeks ago and love the fish. But I was curious as to whether its a true Amphilophus trimaculatum or just a low grade Flowerhorn? I love the fish, it looks awesome, but am just curious as to what it is. I included of picture of him. Thanks for you time, and I love the store, its the best in the North West!

You failed to ask the source of the fish....where they got it from....who the breeder is. They stated it's SUPPOSED to be true. How they can sell it as pure Trimac and risk their reputation if they don't know for sure.

Even though ours are most likely flowerhorn, you have to admit that they have awesome coloring!

Guess you haven't seen many Flowerhorns. Some of them are crazy with color.

Thanks, ya i will try that because they don't need to be selling these as true trimacs when they aren't.
