As reckless and irresponsible Sea Shepard is, you have to admit he is drawing attention to the issue. That being said, I don't really think it's the most effective (or safe) way to go about it.

The past few seasons the Sea Shepard and her crew has been only a nuisance, but last years catch was only 1/5 of the allotted quota. This means the pocket of the trawlers and fishing companies were severely affected. This year might be the year the Japanese whaling ships says F IT. Just like you and I, these Japanese fishing crews have bills to pay and when you are paid by the weight
Something is going to have to give.

Sea Shepherd does what everyone else is too scared or ignorant to do. If the rest of the world had the balls that SSCS does, and the same willingness to put it all on the line for what they believe is right, the world would be a much better place today.
Looks like the Japanese whalers may be allowed to make up for last years poaching shortages.....Sea Shepherd and crew are going after other tagets this year,hence the sub title......

if the world had the willingness to do what they believe in, we'd be in constant war. i could easily believe that there's no purpose for short people in this world and go about terrorizing and eliminating everyone under 5'10" and you'd have no right to say im wrong because guess what? I BELIEVE IN IT. get real. the world ain't all lollipops and rainbows.
KILL THE JAPANESE, lol but seriously I love the sea shepherd. I think the only thing I don't like is the total lack of care about any of the people on the ship. I think they would be more effective if they did

How many people would know the extent to which whales were being slaughtered without Whale Wars?
Make up your own minds regarding their tactics, but the show has brought light to something that a lot of people find reprehensible and think should be stopped.
It's up to the rest of us to write our elected representatives and otherwise affect positive change...
