I’ve talked to Hendre in depth about this and I plan to make the thread after they get out of quarantine. Also these 5 aren’t all the knives I’m getting. I was going to get more but I wanted them to arrive on this specific day so they didn’t have the number of knives I wanted so I got the 5 they had left. I’m getting another 6 to add to the 5 in quarantine and the 1 I already have. I am going to attempt to breed them which is why I want so many. I’m definitely going to have to wait until these are out of quarantine I think to order again or I can swap tanks so the knives have a 40 breeder.
The end goal is to set them up in a 75 temporarily for a year or two until I can set them up with a 125, the leaf fish are going with my bichirs and rope fish.
I was planning on putting the knives with the polys and leaf fish but I did not fully comprehend just how big they got after having been around my tiny knife for months.
Thank you, I do not expect it to be a quick process but one that takes years.
They’re in a 29 at the moment, then a 40 breeder, then a 75, and then a 125 or 180.
