what a day!

well he was really knocked up when i finally reached home and got him in. i emptied half the tank to make it easier for him to stay alive, and he spent the next 20mins floating on his side, gasping. then i remembered the heater was above water level and had already burnt through my air pipes(for air stones). hence no more aeration. right around this point the fish flipped completely upside down and starting taking short shallow rapid breaths. i tried to find spare tubes but couldn't...frustrated i went down to let the goliath out of the bag...i went up and the armatus worse than ever...
i'll type out the last bit after i get out of my wet clothes...it's been a rough day...
you'll have to forgive the fact that i didn't get any pics of him upside down...i was trying to snatch my armatus back from the jaws of death...but this was when....whoops i didn't say that did i

Congrats on the new pickup! Im guessing and hoping that the end of his story is the Arm. actually survived and made a come back!!!
well c'mon guys, i have an exam tmr and still doing all this. i've had a lonnnng day of ups and downs let me have some fun
nah im kidding, im in the midst of packing everything up. my room is a mess.
anyways, after i saw the armatus literally half dead, i went back down to check out the goliaths. i went through all my fish junk and finally found 2 tubes. went back up and attatched the tubes. then spend an hour or more with my brother taking turns holding the armatus upright to help it get oxygen. well i've had 2 gars and an indon tiger die in my hands before, and it was all looking really bleak. but we kept at it and after a long while, he was stirring ard in my hands. i took a breath and let him go. and thank god, he managed to keep upright(this was when the first pic was taken). he remained there for another 20mins and we were really starting to believe he was gonna make it. but then he tried swimming and flopped over to his side again...
now if i was being plain mean, i'd leave it as it is, and go to bed. but since im such a nice guy, i'll continue the story.
