ahaha yes! great idea actually! but i didn't think of taking a pic when my armatus was dying. haha

tankmate is a 16" spotted gar. will have to move him to another tank/pond if the armatus starts getting nasty.

ahh nvm i can just put one of the gatf's in the lower tier.
 
I hate to break it to you but you are FAR from being out of the woods. Armatus have very delicate scales/skin and if your guy flopped on the floor like you said be prepared to battle a severe fungal/bacterial infection!

He is NOT lying. Add salt as soon as possible, and read and learn from my mistakes. You probably incidentally shed a ton more scales holding the fish in your hands. Best of luck.
