I'm glad to see they pulled thru for you James. Your day might start ugly, but ended well... Not like my day! :(

James, congrats on getting them all alive. I thought they were presumed dead when I saw your first post but your magic oxygen tank revived them.
I am so glad it rained yesterday, weather was cold, too. Other than Fedex mishandled the box, I would call it was a lucky day for me.

Nice! What happened to all ur cichla?
Well... xingu kind of went thru what happened to azuls and kelberi. They out grew my tank AGAIN. One or two of them already reached 9+ inch, and few were pushing 8-9". I am happy they went to a much better home than I can provide them. :headbang2 I will see them thrive and maybe breed in the future.

I will have orinos RN. ^_^

Unfortunately they are not at the moment. Since they are F1 plus previously owner(s) kept them in regular non alkaline condition, I think they should be ok for now in socal water. I just ordered some crushed shell. Will gradually introduce some over 7 days period.

yeah dude fedex sucks man
they're a horrible horrible shipping service
i paid for overnight shipping, they ended up making it 2 day shipping
plus, their box positioning is retarded. thus water leaving the bags.
i opened the box and one of the bags was empty
but miraculously the fish survived...
fedex blows

Nice tank trim - has that cool asian twang to it - ups and fedex both suck imo. i shipped a alexandri cat once using fedex to kentucky and it never made it. Some fedex handler along the way stole it.
