The face of a little piggy... but the face of sweetness too.. :) myabe they should call them silver devils :D They do not eat to live...they live to EAT!!

This I fully agree:D

I had a Pacu. He was about 7" and I paid about S$20 for it. In almost a year he was in my tank, he grew to about 13". He was competing for food (all sorts of food) that I threw in to feed my arowana and tigers. My Pacu ate feeders like goldfish and koi. And also superworms. He ate up most of the food I threw in (like a vacuum cleaner!). And I thought they only take pellets. Anyway I finally gave him to an uncle who cooked it for dinner. Heard it was juicy and delicious. Sorry, but I just don't like Pacus anymore. :(

What a waste. If you ever keep them with other fish which take pellets as well, they will be very nice fish to look at in the tank.

I know but that does not make it any easier to hear.. :) The only problem i can see owning Pacu is just the massive size of them..mine are gentle and swim back and forth..do not bother anything..almost look like they are smiling... they are definitly a happy fish.. they are enormous though they do not seem to realize this..because they swim dainty ..i mean if they really wanted to cause a problem it would not take much... they just are a little pushy because they love to eat.. not a big deal..because i love to feed..

My thinking is. If you wanna keep big monsterous fish, you must prepare to give them lots of food.:p

Thats my thinking too.. if your going to own anything, then take care of it or don't own it in the first place.... I quess we are Pacu people Koji
