You actually chose to get rid of the arowanas instead of the pacus??

My thinking is. If you wanna keep big monsterous fish, you must prepare to give them lots of food.

note: feed vegetable matter sparingly, or it WILL come out whole the other end

I didn't finish my story on the Pacu which ate too much. Before it was stir fried and gleefully consumed by an uncle, it also killed four huge Red Tail Gouramis. It nibbled at their bellies, until one by one, all were gone. The Gouramis were about 15" to 20".

Pacus are terrible fishes.
