What am I dealing with

Looks like the Severum was possibly nipped in that area by another fish or scraped itself by something in the aquarium. I agree with philipraposo1982 philipraposo1982 not being HITH.

I can't tell what is going on in those pictures. Please try to get higher resolution pictures with the focus on the spot in question.
 
As Grinch says, those pictures are not very clear however.. I also don't think its HITH.. Besides.. would he survive so long with HITH?

I have had in the past that red severums kept on coming up with something like you have there for no reason.
It never affected the red shoulders or greens and I thought it was a red severum thing
I always threw some salt in and it would go away for a while and now and then come back again.
Will be interesting to see what others say

I got a hurt bass that won't eat and gets bullied and is in a separate tank now. It's on antibiotics. It happened overnight.PLEASE HELP
