Hey guys! I have recently fallen in love with my new EB rams and my new EBJD. I was wondering what are the other species of American cichlids that have the EB morph. I know Acara's are one. What about others?

Thanks!

jack dempsey. i think there is an electric blue jewel too. or maybe its called a turquoise jewel?

Rams, Jack Dempseys, acaras, a variety of flowerhorn (I think they're called titanium silk or something), and blue diamond discus.

EB Jacks supposedly don't grow as big as natural strain nor do they have as much belligerence and aggression from what I gather. From personal experience though, E. Blue Acaras are a bit territorial, but they end up getting beat-up when you keep them with more aggressive fish, as mine is recovering in a breeder net atm, pending injuries administered likely by my 2 male firemouths, but also possible from almost anything else I guess.

This same EBA killed an Oscar and a Salvini the same night 2 months ago. Never stop learning, right? Fish never cease to surprise me.

I think Aquamojo Aquamojo mentioned once that there was an eb vieja Coatzoalcos

Dunno about any more variants but as far as metallic blue fish go high quality greenterror, male umbee, geo brasiliensis all look great and very blue. Some Dovii and regani look great also.
