WHAT ARE GOOD MONSTER POND FISH???

Hello, i am going to be getting a 1000+ gallon stock tank this summer and i will use it as a pond.
I am in maryland so in winter it is very cold... i need fish who could live in there year round and not take them inside.
i want you to name some Cool Big INTERACTIVE FISH!
so far i want the following:
2x albino channel cats
4x koi
Maybe some random natives i catch???
PRETEND LIKE THE POND IS BIGGER CAUSE I MAY GET A BIGGER ONE IN OTHER WORDS, NAME ANY COOL FISH THAT YOU THINK WOULD BE COOL REGARDLESS OF THE PONDS SIZE!!!
(I COULD GET A LARGER POND...)
I have always kinda imagined a pond to be full of boring fish since i cant keep tropical fish or cichlids etc. in it but PLEASE prove me wrong!
 
i do not really want anything with lots of teeth like gars cuz little curious kids may stick they're hand in the pond and i want everything in there to not be able to take a hand off...
 
any1 else?
 
Personally I would stick with koi and albino channel cats for the ease of viewing pleasure. Natives colors make them hard to see in a pond setting and also being wild they are more skittish.

ok good point, any other idess for captive fish?
 
It is near impossible to find sturgeon and wels... They are not gonna haopen... It doesnt have to be something extreme or rare just something cool
