What are some good small fully aquatic turtles???

For small ones some species of musk turtle is the way to go. Not a stinkpot necessarily as other species fit the bill also. Problem is while they're aquatic you might not want their water as deep as you would for fish so depending on the planned setup the mud or musk turts might not be the best option.

You should definately be able to purchase them. and lol at FRT. How about a mata mata lol.

But dont forget matas and FRT are some of the hardest turts to keep and are advanced-keepers-only species. FRT at least have the decency to be hardy once you get them setled but matamatas are very prone to suden death Sometimes without aparent cause

that's slightly disheartened me... if I ever got a turtle, I wanted to get a Mata mata No others really do it for me.

Yes they are hard to keep. In my opinion proper well fed and healty small feeder fish, large but shallow aquaterrariums, lots of clean soft water (I higly recomend using a UV sterilazer on this species), lots of cover and hiding places and warm temps are the keys to keep this impressive turts. Buy also well extablished animals, better if they are long time captives

try looking at Reeves turtles.. they don't get very big (palm size) and are extremely active

How about a texas map turtle? Not fully aquatic, but small.

Are Reeves turtles at least semi aquatic??? And map turtles get just slightly too big The tank I would most likely want to use is a 29 gallon tank.
