What are some more "mellow/non-aggro" cichlids?

Sounds like a dumb question probably...but anyway, tank is tentatively going to be between 315 and 395 gallons (7x3x2 or 2.5). I already have an O and an uaru, my O is on the mellow side for an O, likely other tankmates will be severum, lima shovelnose, couple of poly's, florida gar, redtail chalceus, and some dithers (SD's or tinfoils). Other cichlids I'm considering are festivum and geo. jurupari...just kind of looking for input, having fun thinking about the bigger tank...with all the talk about badass cichlids like dovii, trimacs, blackbelts around here you don't hear much about the laid-back guys, basically anything with an aggression level between O & uaru.

What about salvini? Never kept them but they look really nice...

Sals aren't mean. I say they are they equivalent of a FM. I say go with your Uaru, oscar and a Large Gold Sev with Geos.

Funny about FM's actually...the ones I've kept have been pretty aggressive. They aren't that big, and their mouths seem to not be made to do damage, but the ones I've had will pick fights with anything, including much larger fish that could really tear them up.

Uaru are timid,like Discus....they have one other variation of uaru that are absolutley AMAZING,there called Uaru Fernandezyepezi.Rapps has them.Georgeous.

Folks say Herichthys pearsi are not aggressive. H. bocourti too.

Well I know what you mean about FMs because my FM is a MAJOR B**ch!!, but most aren't like this. I think young FM's are aggressive but placidity comes with age. Nevermind about the Sev GO BOCOURTI!!! definately do this I grew up with one died at 14 and I am 16 they are amazing!!!! I love them but can't find any.
