What are some more "mellow/non-aggro" cichlids?

She was stuck in the LFS tank with a red parrot & a GT and they were kicking her ass...I might try adding more, or at least a male.Maybe gonna look into sajica, and maybe firemouths. Forgot all about rainbow cichlids too...I'm just worried if something is too small the gar will try to eat it.
i would try and get a nice group of uaru, if you dont want a pair get a couple of male or female sajicas(if not a pair say 3-4) and they you could go with 2fm and 2 rainbow cichlids or miss out or get a bigger cichlid maybe a jack dempsey!
I have a salvini thats almost 4 inches ina 75 with 2 inch severums and it doesn't bother anyone...ever.
and I also have a 2 inch gren terror who gets pushed around by the smallest severum in the tank...
But since your tank is so big I think a lot of cichlids aggression would die down being put in that big of a tank.
I liked the suggestion of honduran redpoints. Those are moderately aggressive, but I would be worried about the other fish munching on them.

A couple of my little cons look almost like HRP, and I like them...so might try those. I want to steer clear af anything too small that the gar will eat...or if I end up with an arowana (possibility), something that the aro can/will eat.
