What are the best freshwater snail eaters?

These are bladder snails.
Honestly these are not as bad as they are made out to be.
I have tons of them.
I grow them on purpose.
I have clown loaches that love them.
They are actually good little cleaners. They don’t eat plants in my experience.
But, if you are dead set that they need to go then the bait and remove idea will work.
Don’t over feed so that the snails will be more hungry and target the bait.

Like tlindsey suggested, an abundance of snails is indicative you are adding too much food to the tank.

I like to have some snails in my tanks for this reason. They're an indicator of sorts.

I did introduce a few assassin snails into one of my tank about a year ago. I haven't seen a live Malaysian trumpet snail since. The assassins don't populate quite like MTSs do, but they do grow in numbers.

Great suggestions! I think we have decided to keep them as indicators - will help us monitor the amount we feed our crew..!
