What are the biggest waste $ on your tank?

Hmmm...do you have house or yard plants? The gravel could be good to keep weeds from growing around the base of your plants, increasing drainage and promoting root growth in potted plants, or breaking up hard soil. If not, can't you craigslist it?

those magnet glass scrubbers. worked pretty good the first time. after that tiny rocks get stuck on it then when you scrubb it scratches your tank lol.

fake plants.

Unless you want to go back to having new water sit overnight.I actually still do that with some of my smaller tanks....My answer to the question though would have to be gravel.I have a few buckets full sitting around that I may never use again because I no longer like the color.

I actually do that. I keep a huge rubbermaid bin in my basement full. I use Prime on it anyways. It sits usually for a day or 2, raising the PH. The average PH in my tanks is pretty high (8+).

Prime is not expensive, and is cheaper than any other dechlorinator on the market.

If you have large tanks, you can buy Pond Prime (also by Seachem.) It's twice as concentrated as regular Prime. At dr. foster and smith, you can get a 2 liter bottle for 42 bux, and that treats 40,000 gallons!
Even just the 2 liter of Prime is only 45 bux, and you can prolly find it on Ebay for about 25. It treats 20,000 gallons.

any equipment brand new, just be patient and you can find some really good deals on used stuff

What fish do you keep in that water?
