What are these white things

Too big to be ich.
Appears to be lymphocytosis, which can come as a result from stress or (I think) viral infections.
Not really much you can do to treat it, and it can take a while to go away. Best thing to do is keep the water nice and clean and the fish healthy.

The white spots along the dorsal fin look cottony to me though the pic isn't really clear enough.
Could be Lymphocystis?
Could be either or from the pics. Salt would help. Can even do hydrogen peroxide applied to the spots with a qtip.
